Yo, what’s good fam! Hope all is well and you’re having a fantastic week. Well, relatively speaking, anyway.
I saw all those L’s this morning coming down from the surprise (?) Dunk drop. It seemed absolutely brutal out there. So I wanted to open this space up for y’all to vent. This stuff has gotten really frustrating lately and it’s part of the reason why I didn’t even try.
Also, if you hit on a size that you don’t really want or need, feel free to lob it to the thread! We gotta scratch each other’s backs here, right?
Anyway, gon head and get your issue off. I’m here for you.
I got on the app early, made sure my account was setup, address correct, credit card saved - all that. I clicked purchase on the pair I wanted as soon as it the clock changed to 10 and then what does the app do? Tell me I need to add payment info. WHAT. I had to enter payment info and of course, ultimately lost out on a pair.
If you don't have enough stock to meet demand then just don't even tell us about this special event. WTF even is the point.
Took an L on 4 styles. Wife hit on Womens Pandas. I'm fine with not getting a pair. What I'm not okay with is dropping 6 shoes at the same time and having the app perform terribly. Surely Nike is smart enough to realize it will cause traffic issues if they release at the same time... Why do all of them at 10am ET? Do one every hour... 9 draws tomorrow... going to be a mess
Finally got a W (not for the Dunks today, but the Jordan 13 retros a few weeks back) and then the shipment got lost somewhere between Nike and UPS. Reported to Nike and they cancelled the order and only gave me a refund. Ugh! Even when I hit, I still get that L. Wish Nike would step up their customer service game!
Lol didn't even bother, catching so many L's on SNKRS has discouraged me from even buying kicks lately. Also these standard dunks aren't doing it for me, it's starting to get very saturated smh, at this point I'm only going after what I think is must have's for me.
Sorry if this is off-topic. I'm not a reseller, but I hit on a the fragment x sacai's and then got a different color from an in store raffle. I tried selling the pair I didn't want on eBay, but a fraudulent account won the auction and it got pulled. What's the best way to try to sell, in your opinion?
This was easily the best Panda low drop yet. Just had to be patient with the Nike app. It's still all supply and demand, so more likely to get an L than a W, but it seemed fair to me.
Surprisingly this is the only W I had in SNKRS last year in March so I didn’t try. But honestly the frustration of not being able to cop on SNKRS has made me gravitate towards different brands. New Balance in my opinion reigned supreme and with the slated drops already and the the exclusive Paperboy All Gone that recently dropped I think they have the chance to dominate 2022 as well.
As a big footer, to see how limited my options were was tough. Then, to feel like I didn't even have a chance once it was released was too much. Really makes me want to lean in to store drops and brands like NB even more

It should not be this difficult to get standard dunks.

I hit on the highs but struck out on the lows. I know the dunk lows are the *thing* right now but I do appreciate the highs a lot.
