For me, me and the fiancé are doing a bunch of wedding planning stuff now (UGH) but we managed to actually get on the phone with a coordinator and are making some good progress. I THINK we may even have the colors picked already!
I worked the election yesterday in Brooklyn. 17 hour day as a scanner in a church basement in Prospect-Lefferts, starting at 5am. I had to be there at 5am! My body is broken today. My mind is recovering from what these results mean, win or lose.
But! But, I will say the people I worked with from election veterans to young people stepping up to the plate including college students, people laid off due to Covid, and even an infectious disease specialist were all exceptional people. And there were countless first-time voters, young and old. It was exciting to see. I'm glad I got to play a small part. Now, back to sleep, hoping the last 4 years has been a really bad nightmare.

I've just been keeping on, which is great. There's been so much uncertainty with a second lockdown coming here tomorrow, my flatmate deciding subsequently to go back home to his parents in Miami, just all this stuff going on, I'm happy I've been able to keep positive, happy, get all my college work done, shit like that.
