Good evening, folks! Back again with another KYW Thread! Thanks so much for checking in with me. Hope you’re having a fantastic week.
I feel like so far this year we’ve talked about a lot of stuff that we’re irritated by or don’t like in sneaker culture. There’s certainly lots to complain about, but there’s also lots to love on here, too.
So I’m curious: What have your favorite trends been in the sneaker game so far this year? What have you thoroughly enjoyed seeing? For me, it’s been the array of different materials we’ve seen used on sneakers from ripstop to denim to canvas across so many different brands. I just think that’s super creative and cool.
What say you, folks? Let me know something in the comments!
it was nice to see Nike release the FlyEase Go widely and with a lot of units, ostensibly so they can get in the hands of people who actually need the accessible features. kudos to the Swoosh for that one if nothing else.

That was pretty cool, even if it was a bit late. Was very glad to see that come back as a bit of a surprise.
Personal customisation!!
That's definitely been one of the coolest things to see! People are taking their creativity to the next level
