So I was having a discussion about the kick game so far in 2022 with the homies in the #KicksFam group chat.
We’re about a quarter of the way through the calendar year now with April coming in two weeks. One of the homies asked if there was anything that we’d “move heaven and earth” to cop so far this year? Or even in the look-ahead? The answer was no, pretty much, across the board with the exception of the Georgetown AJ1.
So I’m wondering how you all feel? Has anything come that has gotten you up out your seat yet? Are you looking ahead at anything? Let me know something in the comments!
The only thing that would have me slap somebodies grandma this year would be the return of the Chicago’s in October and that’s because I had to let my pair go. To me that’s a must have in my collection. But otherwise nothing I’ve seen although I wanna see what JFG and NB have coming.
This is me. None of the rest of the upcoming drops are interesting to me but I'm mad at myself for not getting into the Marina Blue (my notifications were set wrong - sob)
Really hoping I can get a pair of AJ2s this year, I’ve always thought they were so cool. The Joe Freshgoods “Inside Voices” look incredible (what I’ve seen of em at least)

For me, I never plan on purchasing anything because the stuff I never knew I liked doesn't really have concrete release dates or I learn about it two days from the date. A cop just happens.

The Rick Owens/Converse Collab is bananas! I copped ALL 3 ! SIcko Mode or Ricks, especially for the price...can never get anything from Rick Owens under 300 so...
Nothing I've absolutely gotta have, looking forward to AJ2s and still want a pair of the Crocs Pollex. Maybe the tan or gray Union Cortez. Have to see more than the leaks.
I really REALLY fucking tried for the Sail Sacai Vaporwaffles and took upwards of 10 L's. Of course, because resellers hate small lady feet, my size is consistently $200+ more than what men's sizes are. I hate it here. If they get into the $400's resell I'll cop but it's just bullshit that they're so much more in my size.
So much heat mentioned in the comments alone! Georgetown 1's, Chicago's, Concepts AM1's (i'm 2/3 so far), CPFM Dunks, Jackie Robinson Dunks, JFG x NB x2, and y'all see that Teddy Santis post? I want every single pair on there. Now, most of these are doubtful for me, so also happy to dig in the crates and see what grails I can find.

Not really. I was really excited for the Wabi-Sabi AM1s before it was announced they aren't dropping in North America. The AM1 skunks look kinda cool too but there's basically zero chance of copping. I've only been collecting sneakers for a few years, but 2022 feel really quiet so far.
We're nowhere near a date on them - but the Cactus Plant Flea Market Dunk Lows are the only Dunks to actually get me excited in a while. Also, even more of a basic answer but those Jordan 2 "Responsibility" speak to me in a big way.
