SIA made basketball shoes for Montrez Harrell and he wears them off and on in the NBA. They've been testing on court footwear for over a year now so they're farther along with basketball shoes than is known publicly. And while I don't think Kyrie will ultimately pick SIA, it might be his best option so he owns his own brand and can't get in trouble for his occasional weird outbursts.
Thank you for pointing this out, Drew! I put a correction above the piece. I completely agree that SIA — or any indie brand — might be a good move for Kyrie for the exact reasons you outline here. Dude can't keep his foot out of his mouth sometimes. With them, he probably doesn't have to worry about that.

B.) totally agree on your points about the dirty AF1s from Matthew Williams, however this popped a question into my lizard brain - do you have any tips on how you clean your kicks?

As far as cleaning goes, I've had great experiences with a manual toothbrush, dish soap and water — especially when it comes to regular leather on something like an AF1. Those are generally never hard.
When you're getting into the suedes and nubucks, it's always best to come through with a legitimate cleaning solution. I prefer to use CREP because I love their wipes and waterproofing spray, but Jason Markk and even Reshoven8r are really good products. I just think they're a bit more expensive!
